I think this thread gives us a good starting point to think about the relationship between bungie and XG. For some time now, XG has been in the role of putting up with bungie (aka the non dedicated host, the weird game glitches and the continued inadequacy in catching cheaters.) Since XG is starting to take over the gaming world, as a group we wield a lot of power. While we can and should show this power by overloading bungie's servers this may only be the beginning. Bungie should be smart enough to realize that a partnership even if it is loosely tied could benefit both parties involved. Maybe this "server assault" we are planning on bungie, should be thought of as more of a way to get our foot in the door and open various discussions about the real world usage of these games. I would like to help organize both the spam and whatever we decide to do thereafter. How about all the people that are interested in organizing this onslaught set a meeting time to discuss strategy? What time is good for everyone? Let's get the word out and start organizing SYN and KoG also! WE CAN DO THIS!

Our community is growing larger everyday on other games, all games in the future, moved and published from microsoft, are not going to have clan or squads listed, so the problem is not having a clan list, the problem is the lazy people who use the clan list as a way to track peoples movements, lets face it, the halo clan list is like big brother watching, these other games we are in, are growing faster then the halo clans grew at the start of xg, we have more people in GOW, FEAR, Rainbow, and Chrome hounds then we had in Halo at the start, so there is no reason we cant keep the movement going forward.

We DON'T want a clan lists any more! Trust me! As a gamer that ran a clan of 50 people before HALO 2 ever came out and before KSI or XGC, it is for the best! The drama that everyone gets butthurt over and people quit over will be gone! I will talk to everyone about this and show you where it is a GOOD THING! But if you all want to go after it we will have your backs!
The reason for doing away with it is to prevent cheaters from grouping up and causing the same BS drama that we already deal with when we go into matchmaking. They are actively trying to stop it now in GEARS and RAINBOW 6. That is why Microsoft came up with the true skill ranking. I support you guys but they arent going to do it. The idea of an extended friend list or clan list from your dashboard is an idea I have heard thrown around. We will wait and see.
That would definitely work, an extended friends list. You would think 100 slots would be enough but its not! And this last comment is to XGC 007 XI and

yea agreed shrpshooter and that does sound really nice about the extended fr. i would love that.
yeas i would love that have a extended fr list if we dont get the clan lists. but it seems that clan lists make it way way more easier to keep track of whos in the clan and such.
