When you're making a decision being informed is key. You need, need, need to hear both sides of the story, you need to learn about how the members in question have behaved in the past so that you can better judge their credibility, you need to talk to anyone that may have been in the room/party, and if you're still unsure then ASK your fellow Generals. Get a second or third opinion. And, if all else fails, wait until Sunday and ask a section leader about it.

Most of the decisions you come to should be with another General. If you recall when your SL promoted you he said "when you come across a problem"(My SL did not specify if I knew how or didnt know how to handle it) "get another General involved". This was not because we don't know what we are doing. It is because that is the way it is done we are a gaming community and every decision made effects the whole community. We need to make sure we are making the same unbiased decisions that any other General would make. Most circumstances have came up previously and are somewhere in the threads(usually). All you have to do is type in a few key words in the forum search thread and it will give you a list of appropriate threads. I suggest all of us use that, so it will be easier to find things instead of searching and finding 500 threads, because people are to lazy or misinformed.
