If you've been doing it for longer than anyone then you should be well used to a community C/C process. I take what's advised of me on the application to heart and try to produce something that the community is looking for. These guys have been designing for XGC for longer than you, and know what the community is looking for. They out rank and have more experience than you in that aspect. I've been doing graphic design since the release of Photoshop 7.0, so I've got plenty of experience under my belt, and I'm sure some of these guys are right there with me.
Again, wasn't trying to be rude. It's like 3 am right now, i'm really tired. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I do understand and am well used to cnc. I do take it to heart, and I didn't mean to be rude, and that didn't need to be posted. I was irritated with other stuff, sorry.

Some sigs have decent to good text, some have rather poor. Your renders have that "pasted effect". Try blending a bit more. I'm anxious to see what you can do.
Try some of the weekly test images so we get a better idea of your talents.

Blending blending blending, depth depth depth, your lacking these, plus some of your colors dont go with the sig. Try some gradient maps, blurs, smudges and the eye dropper tool to help chose colors to use with your renders.
Also question your certification with adobe did adobe test you on anything, or was it a certification test that you took in your webclass?

Like they said depth and blending also try using different effects such as c4d's fractals and various brushes

and an adobe certification is not what you think, and yes its web related, all of my experience is based around photo manipulation such as weddings and such, and web design. Blending and all other things mentioned is not what you need to do so. Thats why im here for your feedback to make me a better well rounded designer...

the background is a bit plain and the render doesnt blend very well. he looks like he was just pasted on top of some stuff. if you work with the tutorials i linked they will help with blending techniques.
