diggin your backgrounds, but your renders look pasted, try to blend them to avoid the "copy and paste" effect.
Just post any work you do. The weeks test images are the only "compulsary" images you need to complete, however the more work and motivation you show the better your chances. Plus, any extra signatures you make will be good practice and help you hone and develop your skills faster.
So im thinking about ending my applications for a while because my computer is dumb and I have absolutely know idea how to work it I tried everything I possibly could and its getting quite annoying I may go with the news team...I dont have to download really anything and im in APLaC and with me trying to keep my grades and stuff up the news teams seems alot simpler for me
Thats completely fine, go ahead and make an app for the news team if you feel thats a better fit for you 
ill keep working on them tho and maybe later on in a few months or longer ill try again if i may..
Youre more than welcome to reinstate your app at anytime. I can delete this and when you feel you are ready I can bring it back without a problem.

Seen it done many times but I still kinda like it. Your text seems to be legit, but I would like to see more graphical images.
looking good, i do agree with the others when it comes to render blending, also try and not use to many fractal backgrounds that are crazy try and stick with a good flow in one direction then many, also to touch on the first sigs you posted you need to work on depth
