the best advice i can give is to look at other peoples applications and learn from their mistakes as well. all of our applications are, or should be, in our designer sections if you want to look through them as well

I wouldn't say he's got it just yet. The placement is good, but the sizing could use some work. You never have to use an entire render.

You seem to have the basics down, but I want to point out 2 things. You never want to try to distort your render to get the whole thing in like you did with the gundam render. 2nd is that borders are amazing, especially when your render is cut like with the master chief avatar.

Try grabbing another image from the test folder. Why don't you try a photo edit instead of using a render

for the mummy one i also want to point out how blurry things are. the cracks/ webs behind him are very bad quality. try your hardest to find good quality stuff
