Hey guys,

I was wondering on opinions for a new TV. Being I play Xbox, What would be a suggestion for a good "gaming" TV? I debated on this FOREVER, but in the end, I went with the Visio 55" LCD flat screen. I looked at LED and plasma, and when it came to picture quality of the ones in my price range, this one won out.

I liked the LED but way expensive in this size range, and the plasmas for under a grand, didn't have good refresh rates.

Anyone have any input?

You made a pretty good choice with that one. I play on a 47" LCD LG its worked out great for me also the lifespan of the tv and picture quality are much longer on LCD's than on plasmas. Also remember to take the size of the tv in with the size of the room I see a lot of people who could be a lot better if they played on a smaller tv being the room they're in doesn't give them much space to get the right distance away I play much better on my 47 than I do the 65 just because I have less area to scan as I'm playing.

Yeah Waddy, I took all that into consideration. I was looking at the 46" but the price on this was too good. I measured before I bought and am about 10-11 feet away when I play and think this will work out for me. I am worried about having all that space now but, I play on an old 48" projection now and think I'll make the adjustment ok. Hoping anyway

I play on a 1080p Vizio 32". I've had a 42" Samsung and currently have a 50" LED LG. For some reason I play the best on the 32". I guess it's because I sit to close to the TV.
