XILED GAMING RANK STRUCTURE
Note to all members, you will be judged by how you handle yourself online not the rank you are given. It is every member’s responsibility to behave in a professional manner in the game, on the forums and in pregame lobbies as well as recruit other gamers who wish to game the same way as us. At the end of the day we are playing video games and it is supposed to be fun!
RECRUIT
A new recruit is a gamer who has been invited to play with and get to know the XG gaming community. The recruitment phase is a min. of 7 to 10 days. This period of time is to enable the gamer to decide if XG is the right online gaming community for them. After this period of time, the recruit will be voted on by their peers and asked to join XG as a private in a squad if they show the qualities of an XG gamer. If the recruit is not voted in or is inactive during the initial recruiting phase they can be removed from the squad. If this occurs they would be allowed back in as a recruit at a later date and do not need to be put on the DNR unless they did something to cause them to be voted out of the community such as violating the honor code.
PRIVATE
Privates are classified as a new members of Xiled gaming.
Privates Responsibilities:
1. Register at www.xiledgaming.com. This must be done in a timely manner or their position in the squad will be terminated.
2. Learn, understand and follow the Honor Code.
3. Learn and follow the rank structure and chain of command.
4. Participate in squad activities.
SERGEANT
Sergeants are considered Xiled Gamers and have the privilege to make a XGC, KoG, SYN or XGG gamertag with the approval of their General and Section Leaders.
Sergeants Responsibilities:
1. Follow the Honor code.
2. Follow the chain of command
3. Be an example to Privates and Recruits and help them when ever possible.
4. Work closely with Lieutenants and Captains to learn new game strategies, attend practices and train others.
LIEUTENANT
Lieutenants are the first step towards being a leader in Xiled Gaming.
Lieutenants Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Captain when running meetings, practices, training lower ranking members and screening potential recruits)
2. Follow and enforce the honor code.
3. Be a dedicated and an active member in the squad.
4. Take charge of meetings or practices is the Captain is not present.
CAPTAIN
Captains are the beginning of the leadership in Xiled Gaming.
Captains Responsibilities:
1. Know, understand and be able to teach all the responsibilities of the lower ranks.
2. Act in a professional manner at all times.
3. Ensure members are following the honor code and have registered at www.xiledgaming.com.
4. Be active online in the game and on the forums.
5. Show dedication and commitment while assisting your General run a successful squad.
6. Run weekly meetings and squad practices
7. Evaluate and vote on new recruits
8. Register on www.clancomplete.com, make challenges and play in clan matches
9. Train your Lieutenant as your replacement.
10. Follow the chain of command and take issues to your General not Higher ranks.
GENERAL
Generals represent the backbone of Xiled Gaming and should be respected by all members.
Generals Responsibilities:
1. Know, understand and be able to teach all the responsibilities of the lower ranks.
2. Run and oversee all aspects of one clan.
3. Help other Generals when needed.
4. Maintain a members list at all times.
5. Update your members list on the forums on the 1st and 15th of every month.
6. Hold weekly meetings with Captains and Lt’s to discuss squad issues and pass on the latest community news.
7. Attend the MANDATORY meeting every Sunday at 8 est or notify their Section Leader if they can not.
8. Work closely with their Captains and Section Leaders to create an enjoyable gaming experience all members in the XG community.
9. Handle issues in their squads with their Captains and take only major infractions to Section Leaders.
10. Communicate in game and on the forums be spamming messages that are passed down from the XG leaders.
11. Make sure all Captains are registered on www.clancompete.com, making challenges and playing in clan matches.
12. Ensure all members know the rank structure and who the leaders are in the community.
SECTION LEADERS (XS)
Section Leaders are directly responsible with overseeing 2 to 4 squads within their division. By accepting the rank of Section Leader you are making a commitment to be a fair/responsible leader and a role model for your section.
Section Leaders Responsibilities:
1. must be active on XBL and the forums on a regular basis
2. be available to hear new ideas, suggestions, comments and solve problems that arise within your section.
3. work closely with their Generals to ensure that all members are playing in a professional manner and following the honorcode at all times.
4. Ensure that Generals post their squad list on time and finalize them by the 3rd and 17th of every month.
5. Approve XG gamer tags
6. Approve transfers within your section
7. Keep discipline within the squads and report any infractions directly to Division Leaders.
8. Be a moderator on the website which means deciding what is appropriate and inappropriate and giving warning offenders when the forum rules are broken.
9. Post clan news, clan events and communicating with their clans via their forum own forum areas as well as their clans forums.
10. Make sure Generals are fulfilling their responsibilities by evaluating them on a regular basis.
11. Move their tags I weekly to ensure all squads in their section are running smoothly.
12. Work closely with Division Leaders to promote XG in a positive way to all online gamers.
DIVISION LEADERS (XD)
Division Leaders are responsible for specific Divisions (XGC, KoG, SYN, XGG).
Communication and decision making are the two most important qualities of a Division Leader. Often you will be pulled in many different directions so it is imperative that you exercise good judgment and patience. A Division Leader will deal with many stressful situations and must be fair but firm, and represent the best that XG has to offer.
Division Leaders Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate the Section Leaders.
2. Serves as a role model for all Section Leaders and the entire division.
3. Work closely with Community Leaders to make decisions that affect their Division as a whole.
3. Work closely with the Section Leaders to oversee all activity within their Division, and to ensure that all members are playing in a professional manner that represents XG.
4. Keep an open line of communication with all the Section Leaders and hold weekly meetings to communicate the direction of the Community.
5. Start or Approve new clans.
6. Be a Super Moderator on the website which means enforcing the forum rules and guidelines by giving infractions or banning offending members.
7. Post Division news, Division events and communicate with their Division via their forum.
8. Move their gamer tag (Xbox Live) weekly into new clans to communicate with the members and address any issues within the Division.
9. Display sound judgment and decision making in all aspects of their online interaction.
10. Evaluate and promote Captains to General and recommend Section Leaders for promotion.
COMMUNITY LEADERS (XL)
Community Leaders are responsible for XILED GAMING as a whole and all divisions there in. Community Leaders are the role models for the entire XILED GAMING family. Community Leaders are responsible for helping the Division Leaders with decisions pertaining to specific Divisions in the community. Community Leaders work with the Division Leaders to train and identify new and up coming Leaders. Community Leaders are required to meet with Division Leaders weekly and discuss issues and ideas. Community Leaders are required to help build XILED GAMING in new games and different online platforms. Community Leaders are also Super Moderators/Administrators on the website and are responsible for posting community news, upcoming community events and communicating with the community via their forum. Community Leaders decide what is appropriate and inappropriate and must remove and ban offenders when forum rules are broken. Community Leaders will move their gamer tag (Xbox Live) weekly into new clans to communicate with the members and address any issues within the community. Community Leaders must display sound judgment and decision making in all aspects of their online interaction.
THE COUNCIL OF LEADERS
The Council of Leaders is made up of the founding members of XGC. The Council works within a democratic structure voting on what is best for all of XGC. These ideals keep the community from being about one person's quest.
NOTE TO ALL MEMBERS
Failure to make meetings, maintain your responsibilities, remain active in game and on the forums will result in a demotion. You will only be eligible for promotion upon becoming active and adhering to the responsibilities of your rank and you will be promoted one step at a time based on your performance and the squad’s needs. You will not be allowed to skip ranks regardless what rank you once held.
