Alot of people lately been asking how was xgc back in the day when it first started and what we use to do for fun, so i decided to make this thread for the ones that have been here for a while such as myself and many many others im sure it will bring back memories. If you wanna know how long i have been here it's been 4 years, yes 4 years!! Back in the day when it first started the website was so simple that you can only upload a photo.....lol and to alot of us we thought that was cool to be apart of a gaming community and have our own website. What we have now is luxury to the tenth power. Its like myspace but better....lol Im sure alot of the higher up's including the council member's are gonna remember what im about to say, this is what we use to do for fun back then. Once a week around a friday or saturday groups of 10 to 16 xg members in a party on h2 would either prank call friend's or stores such as Walmart and change our voices, we would do this for hours. The funniest thing we use to do is call walmart ask them to connect us to the toy department to see if they had the warthog in stock!!! lol....lol sometimes they would actually put us on hold to see if they had it....lol another funny one is that we would connect to the sporting goods and ask if they had plasma grenades, lol this is some of their responses: sir we do not sell such things here. XG member: okay well do you have an overshield that can go with my Battle rifle, lol we had alot of fun. One last one that i remember out of so many is this one general called Home Depot and asked if they had wood strong enough for him to build lockout and run his warthog off the ramp....lol i guess the guy did not hear lockout part and said: sure we have wood strong enough for that but what are doing riding on a pig off of a ramp, lol lol lol we were laughing for hours.......we found out that the general who made that prank call lived in the south. Yeah we use to do things like that back then including the council members!!! yeah i said it....lol REMEMBER this story was told for amusement not to actually call walmart asking for plasma rifles....lol also appreciate what we have now and if you are in a room with any council member thank them for what XG has become....we have come a longggggg way.

I first joined XG back in 2006. I wish I could have had that much fun with my clan in KoG! back then the Honor Code was actually respected, and we had less then half as many people getting DNR then we do now. Back then my XS was KoG 2Good4 U. Since then i have left and kicked but since I was always a good boy I myself never got to see the harsh DNR with my name. What about other peoples history of when they first joined?
XG has been around longer than that. That is just the current website, the current rules etc. It was revamped in '06.
If you're referring to when they were part of KSI, then sure it's been around longer.

This information does not pertain to this website, it is about XG as a whole. It was created in early 2006 which would make it no older than 2 1/2 years.
As Mr. Jangles said, 2006 was when it was founded as a whole. 2006 was when XG hit the big time, made the website, and made the 4th and final installment to the community. XGC has been around forever, but lets just say it wasn't the best start.
you didn't join in 06' lightning... i was in at early 07' and both 4u's either weren't in xg or had just joined
i posted this thread so people can see how much fun we use to have back then, not to argue about when it was started and who has proof whos been here the longest.......and to the ones that really dont know the history of XG it's this simple the council members you see now except for VIPER use to be in KSI but they did not like the way it was being run so they decided to create XG. Towards the end of 2004 thats when they decided to start recruiting people but no one knew who XG was there for XG was not popular. In 2005 it started to pick up and thats when the first website came up. Then in 2006 thats when we received the new website and then XG really started to be known and thats why alot of people say it was founded in 2006, but really the council started to build up XG towards the end of 2004.....dont take my word for it ask one of the council members such as CAV or 007

All I know is, I have been in XG since like late March, early April '06 and that was right after it was created. And as far as "the latest website" goes...when I joined back then, it was NOT this website. It was xgclive.com and you had to register/sign in twice each time. The site we use now is not that old!

this site was made like december 2006. I remember because I joined up in October 2006 back when it was XGCLive.com and then had to transfer to this site in december. But Those were the good old days. We would sit on Halo 2 jumping from party to party just to have fun. I remember I used to always try and get into a party with some of the higher ups and meet generals and section leaders and all that. Keep in mind though, I was only a private so I looked up to the higher ups and I knew I wanted to be one of them one day.
