When you took whatever position you are in, you should had realized that you would have to deal with this kind of thing.

I only thing I can say now step down and just play the game with other XG members and dont worry about the politic side of XG.

But I also have to say that their can be quite a bit of drama at times.

People Dont respect others just because they're good. You got your leadership because you showed you can do it. Skill is not a important, but communication is.
Most of the time the "Drama" is a misunderstanding. Oh, and if their is Drama sometimes you just have to ask them how old are they!

Yeah...Drama is a part of life, and unfortunately you won't be able to escape it. Best thing you can do is try to work it out, or if you don't want to, direct somebody who can help to the issue.

We're in a great group, one with a lot of awesum people and VERY LITTLE drama. Since joining XGC i've been able to relax a lot more and just have a jolly good time lately. Heck, i just said jolly~ how crazy is that? Lol. Your in a good group, and you don't have to take part of the drama stoof that goes on ^_^ we're a community of thousands of members...seeing 1-5 people creating drama really is an insanely small part of the community. Don't let it get under your skin :) It's all good dude.

I have to agree with snowy... If you're in a captain's position or higher then you should have known that were other aspects that some people have to deal with in order to make this community as enjoyable as possible for as many as possible. If you don't like the role you're playing, take a demotion. There's no shame in that, but it is what it is and there will always be things that have to be settled.

if you dont want to deal with the drama, then dont play halo, its that simple.

I deal with it in between games, and then I go back to playing. If its that bad, then you should just take a break from the game, and let someone else deal with it. If you are the only captain who is on to deal with the problems, then i think there are other problems with your clan. Pass the buck every now and then.

Communication is key, reality is life-not Halo.... Yea I said it too! However, I'm a captain and make sure to give my clan the attention it needs. I would love, with a passion, to run my own clan someday as well.

As a captain I put together spreadsheets that show how active new recruits are, ensure people have signed up on the website, play with ALL members, ensure they know we are there to help, show them how to recruit, run practices. It takes a ton of time for that and handling complaints at the same time. But it is what it is.

As far as the drama goes, what’s really going on in your clan?

We've had people come and go, someone disagree with another’s promotion, people demanding privileges that they are not showing the capability to handle. This is why we are given opportunity to take on this leadership because we can handle it.

I'll admit I have taken the past few days and just played R6:Vegas. I like to play other games too, not just Halo. Most of our clan does as well, so that works out well.

For those who need some time away from Halo itself (the Drama part) organize a night or so were at least a handful of members will play a different game with you.

In my squads their is no drama! And all the people I have trained know this that I will not put with any of it period!!! I would think if their is that much drama going on to the point that it bothering you and maybe other people in your squad that a very well deserved talking is needed and very soon!!!
