NHL 11 DEMO

Ok hockey fans, the NHL 11 demo is out. What do you guys think? I love it, but i've only played it for a few minutes. They completely redid faceoffs and the checking engine. it feels like you can really run people over. i'm pumped for the full version

I've played the demo and I have to agree that the face-offs have been redone along with checking. I'm also going to enjoy the new dream team feature.

ppl just have seen the thread very big anticipated release for this game..

love the faceoffs, deke's, and even the passing it makes it more realistic overall. Definitely a bigger, more B.A game!

i just hope the game translates well into the online multiplayer... all of the other games were great, but there is always glitch shots of some form... maybe this one will be more realistic... i love the checking in this one... but i feel like the new faceoffs won't really make much of a difference, but who knows yet?

Yeah they probably won't make that much of a difference but it's more realistic. And I have to agree the checking is much better in this one then the last.

well ill tell you a high percentage shot ive already found lol
if you short side it high your almost always gunna hit the sweet spot

yeah no they cant fix it those kinda things are so hardwired into the game with the mathematics and all that, that there is no way to fix it.

they can tweak things like that... change goalie preferences and what not... the did it in patches for nhl 09 and 10, but it wasn't huge changes

yeah make it a little harder for that particular shot but they would end up having a backend shot that opens up then
