This forum is a good idea Zeppelin. I don't attest to know much (if anything) about being a "good" general, but this may be a good place for you, me, and anyone else to post any questions or requests for advice with regards to running a clan.
well zeppelin help out your clan as much as possible that clan come first above all then once and a while if another clan needs help offer your services and get the xl's to aprrove your help...
All I Can Say Is Be A Family With Your Clan Instead Of Playing Matchmaking Play Customs Get To Know Everyone And Even If There Problems Between Lower Ranks Try To Step In And Fix Things There Not Always Gonna Like You Believe Me Im Sure Drifter Could Tell You A Copuple People So Just Get Know Them Stay Close To Them And The Clan Will Be A Success

My Clan KoG Demented is about to split and I would like to ask for advice on how build up a new clan the right way and also how to keep the mother clan from going to crap after the new clan is formed.
From my experience, I noticed to not take all your good recruiters is the number one way to keep both clans running. I made the mistake of taking my best recruiters with me because they were my friends so now my new clan is running better then any and the old one has only a couple of recruiters so it is hard for them. In order to run your new clan the right way i suggest recruiting smart instead of in numbers because I am sure you are in no hurry to split again haha. Well anyway goodluck and remember Recruit smart not in numbers!!
Hey Zep lisnten up...one mistake i made a long time ago was taking too much control over the clan...One thing you do not want to do is doing everything by yourself...You have to let the captains run do most of the work..you watch over them. That helps you have a strong clan.
To build up a nw clan and making the mother clan not fall apart...You cant be selfish and take all the good members to the new clan. DO half and half and recrute good members.

Thanks for all this advice I would appreciate it if everyone who reads this page will post things they have learned from experience and mistakes on this thread. Not only for me but so that everyone who reads this page can become a better general. After a while maybe when a new general is promoted we can simply send his to this thread and he'll be able to run his clan effectively without making hardly any mistakes.
you are right scorpion we need to talk about it at the generals meeting and at our own clan and captains meetings to spread the word.
