yea we got into the room (Hardcore TDM on Favela) and the match started after the countdown and when you picked ur gun the top of your screen went green and had letters on it. our guns had lasers and mudfli told us to leave. We left, and turned our xbox off and turned it back on (which cleared the "virus"). I do not know if the other members killed anyone in the match, but i know i did not. three of us (kyoshrio, mudfli, myself and maybe dawnofanimal) got our scores and wins messed up.

That is when i went onto the computer and made a post because no one was on. Then mudfli left to talk to the two section leaders, and brought me and mc213 in and we explained what had happened. So now that is where we are at today minus what had happened to mudfli.

This has always been a simple topic though. As far as I know, nothings changed regarding it (XG-wise) in several weeks/months.

If you are pulled into one of these lobbies, back out as soon as you notice that something is amiss. The fact that millions of points are accrueing on your screen, or the Level-Up sound-bite thats played as the points sky-rocket... This stuff is noticeable, and if you remain in one of these games for longer than is necessary, then yes, you have no excuse.

Its happened to alot of us, and all you do is leave the match. People in your clan(s) should be aware of the issue and our stance on it by now, and if anyone else remains in the match, its their own doing. Thats why we stressed this SO much at the time.

That is wrong, I was in the lobby with mudfli, As soon as we joined, we all ended up level 70. There was no points flashing on the screen, all we saw was green letters on top of the screen, we all backed out asap after we saw them, and yet we ALL still went up to lv 70, and 3 of us ended up with a messed up leader boards.


I've heard the excak same thing happen to my friends as well, wasn't on hardcore, but i've heard about it on the reg team, and free for all.......

So not all the time can you prevent it... we backed out ASAP. TBH, mudfli DID not do it on purpose, he was working on a few titles, so why would he have wanted to get to lv 70 before he got the titles?

and yes wick3d, its better to have actually modded to 10th, rather then get in it on accident, and LOVE XGC enough, to not want to leave, + spend all the time mudfli, and camron have put into there clans......

section 7 of the HC
Violation of the Honor Code will earn a Gamer a warning; two warnings and you will be banned from the community. Members caught purposely cheating and/or participating in manipulated online play will be immediately banned. No exceptions!

We did not purposely cheat or purposely manipulate online play or purposely participate. therefore we should be kicked out under the rules of XGC. If anyone can tell us what rules we did violate Ill be glad to say nothing and say they are right. BUT UNTIL THEN WE SHOULD BE REMOVED!

Further more Section 8 reads as follows....
Honor Code violations consist of trash talking, t-bagging, discrimination, racism, sexism, harassment, illegal drugs, cheating, poaching, squad deranking, or any other aggressive behavior toward fellow online gamers. Cheating is defined as any manipulation of online play; this includes, but is not limited to modding, bridging, stand-bying, forcing host, action replay, glitching / super jumping in match making / ranked games to gain an unfair advantage, playing online custom / ranked games with Modders, and circle boosting. Every situation is different and will be handled appropriately on a case by case basis.


Now if you would recieve a message from sumone stating that certain individuals are boosters and modders (without ANY evidence and without ANYONE who has gamed with those individuals stating that those gamers are infact cheaters) then that message violates the trash talking part correct? Thus is what was said to me and mudfli.

so to sum it up,

1) no evidence of purposeful cheating
2) no evidence of purposeful manipulation
3) no evidence of purposeful participation
4) no breach of the honor code was committed by either myself or mudfli
5) this could happen to you! Why not make a stand now!

Well from what it would seem you boosted which is a clear glitch in the game found by players which is in turn something that xg as a whole doesnt accept..

as far as evidence is concerned that's based on who saw it but ive got messages from an xs about you guys boosting so somebody had to have known and that is that plain and simple

and boosting is actually an understood portion of the 8th HC

and what if it happens to you highlight? and you get the same treatment? it sounds to me to have been an accident. And having to go out and buy a new xboxlive account to stay in XG seems a little much. I hope it doesnt happen to me lol.

Oh yea highlight im referring to that message. the sender of that message must be demoted because he is accusing us of boosting. which yea we did, but that is not against the HC honor code if you have read it. The honor code simply states PURPOSEFUL....we did no such thing...we cant even say it was an accident because we did not put ourselves there. XBL did, not us.

and buy a new gamer tag....i was NOT GIVEN the option of getting a new gamer tag...i was asked to leave...

wow i know! yea im here fighting this because i care more about this place then the council leaders and section leaders....i only say that because i am here stating my case where they DONT WANT TO HEAR my case. So yet again...no honor code was broken. we are working on getting an activision support tech on XBL rumors have it we already got a microsoft or MW2 on and we are waiting for council leaders to get on hear that this does actually happen as we said it has...

I understood it to say change his GT. You can do that w/o getting a new XBL account. However, my info is third and fouth party. THe punishment does seem extreme, but I do not know the whole story. it would be helpful for us to understand if the coucil would comment on it. However, i have no stake in the matter, other than being a member of XG. Im in THe Syndicate with a PS3 clan. I hope things workout though, for all parties involved.

My understanding from Mudfli himself is that he was told he would have to get a new XBL account. He prepays for a year in advance, so he would have to pay again. He wouldn't just lose his data for MW2, but every single game he has ever played. I believe he was given this option because they did value that he was a General.

I believe this is the main issue for the counsel: If someone looks at the leaderboard and sees an XGC member with moded stats, then it looks bad for XGC. They also believe you cannot randomly get into a modded room, but you can indeed.

Here's my hope: someone will be able to get Mudfli's game stats reset and XGC will allow him to remain as leader of Perdition. However, if you were in Mudfli's shoes and you were looked at as being a liar, would you even want to resume? I hope this happens and I hope he stays, but I see all sides and it is a frustrating situation. DAGGUM MODDERS SHOULD BE SHOT!

hey corndog bud ive been around alot longer and ive seen this time and time again i know the rules still from when we were mainly a halo 2 clan and boosting was a major problem it wont happen to me that way cuz im aware of how i handle myself

You guys being able to stay depends on how well you conduct yourself and you trashing on the ppl that will ultimately decide whether you stay or not is a bad way to go about it state whats going on and nothing more dont trash the council saying that they dont love xg bcuz they care enough to allow us to have this site and community

Ive been accused of this before and proved the section leader wrong best of luck to you but act contrite not stuck up like you know everything about xg those rules are interpreted loosely by those in power

I'm just a spectator to the matter, but as far as I know, when you go into a modded game, while the game is running anyways, once you are in, you instantly get those modded scores no matter how "quickly" you exit the game. As far as getting a new account. I say meh. Not too many people are willing to get a new account and lose all their games and data for anyone or any community, $ comes into play, and considering that he has a year on that account, that's 60 bucks down the drain. Again I have no say in the matter, just giving my 2 cents, good luck to both parties.

The two gentelman that did get those boosted scores and kills where removed from the community for Boosting..thier leaderboard stats where the evidence we used..to anwser the other questions posted in this thread...XG has a Zero tolerance police for Cheating/Modding/and Bosting.

DUKE, here's my frustration with a decision based on that. Cameron did not even get a kill yet his scores instantly boosted. None of them backed out and went back in to keep ranking up in prestige. None are even high level prestiges. My understanding of why it did not impact the scores of some players was that they were already at a level 70 in the prestige level they were in at the time. The others were not at a level 70 and it boosted them to 70 instantly before anything even happened. Once they realized what was going on, they all shut off their Xboxes to try to do the "dashboard" effect and not have anything permanently post to their stats.

What I would like to see is what is expected of us. If we get into one of those modded rooms, we should back out, shut off our xboxes, and report immediately to a higher ranking member correct? That's what I've been told to do. That's what they did. They got booted.

I hope this doesn't come across as whining, but you can understand how this looks. It's kind of like a person who never does drugs being handed a pot brownie and eating it not knowing it had pot in it until they felt the effects, then reporting it to the police and getting arrested. Stupid analogy but it's the best I could think of. I would like to know what we should do if this were to happen to us. Or will anyone in such situations automatically be banned so none of us are safe playing MW2?

I'll tell you now that when being dragged into a game like that it is the protocol to leave immediately and contact a higher rank to make sure you save yourself, however, the warning signs that were indicate that he stayed in the match and it is reflected in his K/D ratio and such

on top of that the only way your stats are affected by it is if you play in the match whether you die or kill someone but giving the benefit of the doubt all the way up to the point that he is in the game the first shout of im boosting which happens in every lobby and that 'lasers' were coming out of guns means you exit immediately and that is avoiding alot of other problems he had to accept an invite from somebody random (hopefully) and accept in which everyone on mw2 that boosts lobbies tells you that they are doing it so therefore he accepted to join a lobby that was boosting and in turn got boosted so he was kicked

i tell you once more that you should not accept invites from randoms if you havent talked to them before and always read what you are getting into if you do get dragged into it somehow then please exit immediately simple stuff that can keep you in xg if anyone doesnt agree with it then please dont let the door hit you on the way out and other guest communities are accepting members

Maybe there current rank was a factor, who knows, what I do know is that cheating isn't allowed either way, so it sucks but that's the way it goes.

So what happens when a Division Leader like yourself Duke gets into one of these lobbies and cant afford to buy a brand new account and lose all your achievements? Do you just throw everything away? (XGC) I know Mudfli I have played with him for a longggg time he wouldnt cheat or boost anyone on purpose. I also know he cant afford to buy a whole new account.
