MAY HAVE DISCOVERED A WEAPON REMOVAL GLITCH WITH FLAG

I was playing a ctf game 4 vs 4 in hardcore matchmaking. I was carrying the enemy flag got to the base and saw an enemy person there with a shotty. When I scored the flag, I was about to switch to my shotty right at the same time i scored the flag. But instead of shooting him, i was unable to fire any bullets. Then i noticed that i wasn't holding a weapon. I couldn't even pick up any weapons or flag automatically or by pressing the x button. All i could was either jump or get killed by someone. When i died, i was able to use weapons again. What can you say about this?

Yeah deffinitely sounds like a weapon removal glitch. Ive seen something similar to that happen to someone in team skirmish as well. I guess depending on how fast you score a flag while switching over to your weapon can make glitch and remove your weapon, or something along the lines of that. Weird glitch

I've had something similar to ths happen to me too. I was switching weapons just as I grabbed the flag, and my guy's arms just... disappeared. It still looked to everyone else like I was holding the flag, but I couldn't melee or score it when I got to our base. Pretty odd.

you can drop all weapons with the ball or the flag. I am not sure if that is what happened to you, but all you have to do is walk over a weapon and that will allow you to pick it up.

You ever play basket ball with the bomb its fun, all you do is use the glitch.

yeah you can do that with the flag also. Funny to watch.

Charge up the plasma pistol and then grab the flag.....next time you drop the flag you will have no weapon but can still throw grenades....everyone has know about this since the day the game came out though.....So it's nothin new.
