What are the responsibilties/requirements of a Section Leader
- Has to be a General for 2 months
- Has to take care of his/her squads first, then take care of all of KoG keeping the other S.L. in mind!
- Has to maintain and run all squads sucessfully and make sure they are following the Honor Code and XG Structure.
- Have to check the forums and make use of thier moderator by getting rid of trashtalking and cussing.
- Find new leaders is KoG and take thier name to the Division Leaders
- Maintain the responsibilties for the squad lists
The Section Leader
A Section Leader has to deal with issues and problems far more then we think they do. A Section leader has to make sure that he is treating everyone fairly when he is handling a problem. He/she has to make great judgements and make sure they are not going with thier favorties. A Section Leader has to give up time for KoG. A Section Leader has to make decisions that helps Xiled Gaming as a whole. A Section Leader must communicate well with its partners and help them when needed.
A Section Leader must be able to handle new issues or problems. Show Dedication!!!!! Fix something that is broken so it will benefit everyone!
The Section Leaders never to thier job! All they do it sit around and play custom games all day
Everyone who says this has to stop saying it. A Section Leader gives up most of his time on Sunday to attend meetings(plural). On Saturdays they have to give up 2-3 hours doing squad lists, fixing errors in them and make sure they are doing thier job. On top of that...they have to come on the forums and answer questions that are in thier section. In our structure it says...A Section Leader must make him/herself avaible SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK to deal with issues, solve problems, hold meeting and hear new ideas. So that means they can play custom games all day one day, and the next day they can take care of KoG for like 2-3 hours and then play Halo 2 again!! So stop complaning.

A Section Leaders job is to find leaders in thier clanand take them to the division leaders. If the S.L. gives someone who isnt ready yet, and they person they picked turned out bad and makes bad decisions. This will weaken the section leader team and make the person who picked the person look bad as well.
If the Section Leader gives in a name. And that person turns out really well...then they both (Section Leader + New Section Leader) get a lot of credit, and whet else happens? The section leader comes closer to Division Leader.
If a new section leader does good, he makes the nominator look good. If he does great, then he makes the nominator look great. As a new section leader you should prove yourself by doing your responsibilities and your expectations. You will know that the more people come to you for problems and issues...the better job your doing.
A Section Leader must make sure that all thier generals know how to use the F.A.Q. section, squadl lists and the weekly updates. A section leader must also provide meetings for the generals. Also, the Section Leader must make sure that thier generals know thier stuff.
If a section leader gets promoted to Division Leader...he has to find a replacement that is ready!
Communication (key to success)
A section leader has to communicate with his/her partners and vote on big things together. Section Leaders have to help each other out as much as they can. If a section leader needs help with something and he asks you do to it for him/her. Then you should step up and do it. If a section leader cannot do his squad lists and he asks another section leader to help him/her..then he/she should help him. A Section Leader must spread news as well...such as promotions, removing of a member, leaving...ETC. Section Leaders must communicate with lower ranks and higher ranks as well.
Being a leader is a privilage not a right!
A section leaders should never abuse his/her power, shouldnt be power hungry! Shouldnt go online drunk!! Everyone has a role in XG. A Section Leadeer must be professional when he'she expresses the honor code. They shouldnt yell or trashtalk and they shouldnt swear when they are handling a problem.. THE HIGHER YOU GO, THE MORE RESPONSIBILTY YOU HAVE!
The only time a Section Leader can break a rule in the honor code is when someone trashtalks or disrespects him...he can boot him by not giving him a warning.
Wondering how the Chain of Command works
A member has an Idea and tell it to his genral. On sunday the general speaks it out loud in the generals meeting and if the Section Leader's dont stop it. The section leaders then have a meeting with the division leaders and if the Division Leaders dont veto(couldnt think of a better word) it. Then they take it to the council.

Now Some for other important information.
If someone in XGC is under 18 and they were in XGC before January they are allowed to stay in XGC but they can never become a general until they are 18.
Squad lists cannot be edited incase the general who does the squad list "Hits the clan" cant edit it so the captains have access to it.
The only rank in KoG that dosent need permission for making a KoG tag is the general. The general can make anytag they want as long as its not take and they know that its appropiate. If the change the lettering around in thier gamertag then they have to talk to the S.L.
No Situtation has to be dealt with on sunday.....you can vote on it together with your partners on sunday when everyone is on.
Promotions do not come based on how long you were in XG. They come based on leadership.
