Generals,
As the next few weeks unfold upon us, I stand ready to face the drastic decision of? Which game does my clan go to?
With MW3 and BF3 coming out, and Gears 3 already out, its clear that my members are clearly not interested in Black Ops anymore. Even MW2 has a better chance than Black Ops...

I ask each General (All Divisions) to post a comment, thought, idea, or complaint, on how or what your clan has or is doing to tackle this issue.

SYN Homicidal is still in talks with each other to decide on which road to take. I feel that anyway is good, especially for recruiting. However, I am concerned that the wrong road (wrong game picked) will cause a split or even a loss of interests by the members..

*The idea of this thread is to pull the Generals (Backbone of X.G.) together and provide support and or guidance. Therefore, I ask everyone kindly to not use this thread to complain about the games or to discuss off topic issues.

well honestly at the end of the day its about the members so why not let them get what they want and play what they want? why make them choose? if you find them all getting the same game then sure call yourself that type of clan...but i wouldn't worry about it too much, every year this situation comes up and we always keep going

if u have 30 members in ur clan, and 10 of them play gears 3. 10 of them play mw3, and the last 10 play battlefield 3. u put them in a squad that all them play the same game. its harder to run a clan meeting that way unless the general has all 3 games.

me personally i would find a clan that wants to be all gears and transfer them to that clan and take the people that dont play gears from his clan and put them in mine. be a game specific clan. it will take alot of shuffling around but it will make things easier for the clan in the long run with clan meetings and such.

I agree... we have almost 50 members. Have separate MW2 and Black Ops Squads now. I'm hearing most are moving to MW3, but I have interest in several for Battlefield 3. So we will create a separate Bf3 squad just for them to go and enjoy the game.

We rotate meetings between games so everyone gets the chance to attend weekly meetings and I post weekly meeting notes so if people don't have the game or can't make a meeting they stay informed.

The clan is for all members, so why not all major games? I let me members decide their own path.

i find its not really the general decision but the people in the clan,like my clan is all Battlefield 3 because everyone hates Call of Duty and we all love Battlefield,meetings are a little hard with Battlefield but the end result is worth it

Battlefield is always going to be a difficult game to recruit in unless you have people that know how to recruit on that particular game so I would just assume if you were just that you would SLOWLY bring new people to play and MW3 still hasn't released and if its as big as I think it will be almost all your members that play COD will switch I know a few of my guys are even selling BF3 already to help pay for MW3.

the way I see it, at least in my clan, we all met on black ops, alot of my members have battlefield 3 and alot are getting MW3, however when it comes to clan meetings and squad meetings, not everyone has battlefield or getting mw3 so we are still doing meetings on the game we all met on and the game we know everyone has, easiest to do it that way. They are free to recruit from whatever game they want, so they have other people to play with, but for now all our meetings are on black ops. it is the only common denominator for everyone

well i think what should be done is. if they are into mw3 and your clan is mainly playing bf3 then find a clan that is mw3.. if your clan is gears 3 and some of your members are now mw3 then find them a mw3 clan. fact of the matter is we are gonna lose people with all of these quality games out unless we are willing to find them other clans with in the community to move to
