Yeah, as long as you have a good foundation to build off of you can rebuild it better than it ever was. I took over XGC Academy and bought it back from the dead. It wasn't easy but because I had some really good people with me it has grown quick. Even when people decided to act like knuckleheads and were removed, I already had people ready and willing to step up and not miss a beat. The good thing is that you have plenty of support here with other generals and a good resource of knowledge to pull from.
