best shooter i would have to go with R6 v2 because its really sound overall even though many people dont play it they all have thier own good things like in halo teh matchmaking and trueskill (though somewhat off) works well and cod4 perks are nice but i think it detracts a little from th sahooting aspect when you add in traits like juggernaught....

Best: COD4 for its graphics, gameplay, the amount of people who play it, and the ability to constantly play it without getting bored
Worst: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 because the second version showed no improvement over the first, graphics were subpar, and the shooting seemed inconsistent

CoD 4 is and probably always will be my favorite... I dont like how Halo feels, I don't know, it doesnt feel natural. CoD theres always that urgent feeling when you're being chased by someone because its so much easier to die. As for RSV2, its a good game but its not as widespread as FPS. Tac-shooters are fun but require different skills.
actually i think the best shooter is Gears of War.
i tried playing halo again yesterday. The matchmaking is still horrible as usual.

hated gears of war because it took so long to kill people...im all about realism thas why i cant stand the cartoon shooter that is halo

Halo 3 is the best, ALWAYS. I love call of duty 4, and I'm actually better at it. But combined with the tactics in The halo 3 and the luck factor in call of duty, i voted for halo 3.
I would have said Halo 3 back in November, but once you win 32 games in a row and dont go up a level in team deathmatch then lose one and go down 3 levels it kinda turns you off. So until they fix that and that dumb **** thing they have for a melee system im gonna keep playing COD4. As for GOW, if there wasn't so many glitchers id play it.
