Jeeze what a hard question. I like so many: Ill Nino, FFDP, Slipknot, Korn, Mudvayne, Rise Against, Godsmack, the list goes on and on.

Of the classic bands I would have to pick Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin. Of the modern age bands my choice would goto Coldplay & Audioslave. I know the question specified one band, but as you get older you begin to appreciate artists for their talent rather than what they look like.
