Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I can see the point in the word part.
But adding numbers (at the end) just makes it tacky.
xSPONSx is better than SPONS12345
its like,
say you want "GoldenDragon"
but APPARENTLY that's going to be taken,
So next, any sensable person would try
G0ld3nDr4g0n.
xGOLDENxdragonx
xXGoldenDragonXx

but honestly,
GoldenDragon34
Imlame91
Superfail82

those are just so tacky,

Okay, my rant is done.

SPONS, I totally agree with you. The only way I would put numbers on the end of my name unless it had a meaning. Like my area code that I'm from or a street number where I hang out at etc. But I won't put random numbers...It's like what you said "It looks tacky".

I agree. When I changed my name, I wanted MrsMassacre, plain and simple. But, it was taken back in the original xbox days, so I couldn't have it. I decided to go with x's b/c, like you said, it looks tacky.

I'm glad other people are noticing this lol, I guess one way they 'could' make it better would be to recycle some of the old unused GTs or ones which arent available anymore because someone changed their GT again.

Whats the point of keeping them locked away for no one to use? With so many members (what 6+ million now) we're bound to run out of simple, creative GTs and are pretty much forced to add X's and numbers to use the one we like. And really....who wants to use the randomly generated GT's that Xbox Live suggests if your first choice is taken.... hahaha, those seem worse than GT's chocked full of digits

Well it would all depend on the person, whether they are creative or just err lazy. Me i been on live for 2 years already with my own account but before that i was on my cousins account.

My current and only account - Hard Hat Hippo
Yeah i guess i do agree it is indeed tacky, I always ALWAY take notice to numbers in GT while i play online.

The biggest numbers that I see at the end of someones name 420, now thats tacky, I mean, cmon lets be serious here, we all know what that means, but half of those people just put it in there name to look cool.

I like my gamertag. It's simple and original.
Your gamertag is to the point. No need to think of a complicated name, lol. But I do agree on the tacky gamertags. I don't understand random numbers on the end of gamertags. Even the overused 420 gets annoying at points. Majority of the people that place that in their name don't even know what it stands for. It's a sad, sad world.

It is pretty sad to be forced to use random numbers, X's, etc in your GT to get one similar to what you really want...

Maybe they should roll out another option. Like the ability to use underscores, periods, etc... That would give alot of us countless options, all of which would be better than a mess of numbers/letters that just look stupid IMO

I see your point about the X's and i do think they should have Underscores available when do change your name but i have the X's to be honest

yes, but seeing as that number has a purpose to a drug...it seems to me that they put it there to express that number and what that means. Plus, if you look at some of their bio's or motto's some talk about the drug...I may seem very funny to you..thanks for your compliment, but I am going to disagree with you and state that most people not all but most people do it to look cool. Good Day.

Yeah there are some horrible GTs.The ones that really **** me off are the ones that have 420 or other Weed refrence in them, and it's a freaking 10 year old! Though I think the Worst WTF GT I have ever seen was,no lie folks, Fish vs. Taco!

No I'm not lying, there is actually a guy on Xbox live called that, and I'm not too proud that I met the ******* either
