OK I just saw this post Here is what actually happened. I sent out party invites to everybody saying I needed people to play in a 8v8 clanmatch against XGC Specialists. 12 people joined my party I told everybody that I only needed a team of 8 and asked if i could get some people to volunteer to leave I finally got the party down to 9 people and asked again (I asked several times expalining that the match was 8v8 and that we couldn't join the party with 9 people since they already had 8 people of their own waiting for us). By this time we were already 10 minutes late getting over to the match I asked again for somebody to leave which this time I got a reply, "well why don't you leave?" I am not sure who said it but I expalined to them that 1. I am the general, and 2. I was the one with the party invite and they wouldn't be able to get to the match without me... Well anyway I had a full party with one extra person. Everybody in the party was either a captain, lieutenant, or sergeant except for him - he was a new recruit. So i only did what i was forced to do and that was to boot him so we could go to the match. I don't think this was handled in an unprofessional manner and this is a thread that should have never been started. BTW after he was booted from the party, he sent me a message that said "that was really f'ed up you booting me out of the party like you did." then he quit without ever trying to get back with me to discuss this.

how is that the only thing you could do, Our job as leaders is to show a positive example of how XGC works. We are there for the members. I am sure life would have gone on if you were a few minutes late. I know alot of people in Specialists and they are pretty chill. You should have made sure the person you were booting was ok with that not just picked the lowest ranked person.

I think 15-20 minutes worth of asking people to leave with nobody actually doing it even after expalining to them why I needed some if them to leave and then also explaining that if nobody left I was going to have to boot somebody. I also said that after the match i would get them back into the party if they wanted to play but tried to explain SEVERAL times that we had too many people and couldn't join their party until we were down to 8 people. What is so hard to understand about that? Sorry, but if this guy is going to go over the deep end about being asked to leave the party temporarily, then how do you think he would react if he didn't get promotions when he thought he should?

That is fine Bojangles, but this is not the place to discuss the issue. I think that Dirt made the right decision. If I am going into a clan match, I want the people that best represent what my clan is all about. If a recruit has a problem sitting out, then maybe they are not the best person for XGC.

If this is still a problem, it needs to be worked out on XBL, instead of a post war on the forums. Dirtgirl, if you need to speak with me about it on Live, shoot me a message.

Lets not let this get out of hand.

As a general I have always felt that Recruits, Privates, Sgts, Lt, and Captains, should play in a squad match before I do. If the team is full Then I would just sit out and wish my members luck, If they were short I would play and help my guys out.

Another thing that would really help avoid this sorta of problem is put the team together days in advance with back up people just incase. so that way you know what people are going and they can all practice and know who is going.

One final note before I close this per a members request, He is not allowed back in without being approved by Division Leaders/ Council.

As Carbon as mentioned, the parties need to get with him or another Section leader on XBL. If you bring this guy back without the proper approval you and he will be removed. So make sure you do it the right way.

Thanks.
