WHY DO PEOPLE USE THE M16?

People will say the M16 is overpowered but its not all the guns you use in COD4 are accurate to the real thing except the whole headshot thing on reg TD but thats not important. but its true that it gets the job done, its easy to use at range and its a easy one shot kill to a good player
At range, landing all three bullets in the burst is a challenge, and that just makes it better. I like the challenge.
I Like it even though it is cheap. If you silence it and put some other perk ther than stopping power it can't be called cheap. If you want cheap M14 with stopping power. 1-2 shots.
yea but the m14 is hard to hit people with because of the recoil unless ur really good and lucky enough to get off just two shots before the person moves but those chances are slim if you play decent people.
i think the m16 has to have more power because when you first start playing you need a decent gun in order to get kills to get to a higher level which unlocks other weapons... its like giving a 10 year old a race and allowing them a 5 second headstart
It's all about the P-90, UAV Jammer, and a Silencer. Gets the job done and you can kill anyone using an M16.
Ive recently started using juggernaut on the p90 and on the Ak 47 and it works pretty good against just about anything.
Hah hah! I love the apathy. Reminds me of good ol' American values.
But my problem is that infinity ward has probably experienced the same frustration we all have during the beta test, so why didn't they try and equalize the guns a little more in some way? Maybe they did, maybe they just liked it that way. Personally I think it's just a little too well rounded of a weapon.

M16 = Total pwnage, at close or long range.
And it is noob friendly....i.e no skill required.
Well its a very well rounded weapon in real life so Infinity Ward def. got it right.....people just think its a "noob" weapon cuz it does the job. Why dont people complain about a person hiding around a corner with a shotgun? Id rather die from a person using an M16 than a person who camps....
i have recently got back into use the PRO 16 w/ the PRO Tube and i don't care how nooby people thinks it is if i can get 70 plus kills in Headquarters on Average i am going to abuse the 16
I went from P90 to MP5 now im on the M4 i dont have a problem with what weapon anyone uses. Just depends what perks they use!!!
