I feel like it's only because the attention gets taken away from them and then they wonder why we get so attracted to female gamers haha
My girlfriend doesnt hate it when i game, she loves to game as well as i do, but she enjoys a different genre then i do... i love my FPS like CoD or BF, she loves her MMORPGs like Fable and she loves GTA
I think girls should get into it like myself. I enjoy it very much. Not sure why some girls hate it lol.
I feel like way more american girls play xbox than british girls, i literally have never met a girl who plays xbox (in real life) i have met girls online sure but definitely way more american girls than British.
This is a great thread easily 1 of the funniest. Its defnly something all of us on the website have in common nd have an opinion on, when I was playing games alot nd my gf was at my house which was all the time. You have to consider her being there so what I did was I set up 2 tvs in my room 1 for cable nd 1 for gaming so she had something to do when I play. I also would only play when we weren't doing anything when I was bored or something. And I for along time I didn't play online i noticed that she was ok with me not playing it online she found weird when I was talking to ppl. Go figure, I got her to warm up to that let her talk on the mic sometimes.
Also if your gf is crazy enough to just get up nd smash your xbox I would think your probably not doing something right, if you no what I mean haha

ive been hated on my men in the gaming world most my life starting with my brothers cuz i am good at it... ive lost many boyfriends due to it... . at least in my exp... and its like nope i can play and rock it if you dont like it there is the door
I actually work with a guy that used this logic to help her understand why his hobby of gaming is better. He just started going out after work every day to the bar to have a drink, eventually she was practically begging him to come back and just play xbox.
They way I see it I'm at home with you instead of going out or being away from them. I've had mixed results with this, One gf hated xbox at first then I come home and shes playing call of duty and was really into it. Another gf simply had a hate for Xbox live didn't play much unless she wasn't there. You have to find that common medium with them. When they are with you they want the attention on them so maybe put that controller down and make your life alot easier.
My wife plays with me. I couldnt be with a girl that hated something I had passion in. Just like I would support her in everything she did she would have to support me. Like I said my wife plays with me. It wasnt always like this but she saw how I felt and gave it a try. Now she plays almost more than me...lol.
