I heard Fable 2 has the exact same story as Fable 1....Cod5 is just like cod4 and i have never played fallout or farcry so im gonna say COD5

you should get fallout 3, everytime that company has released a game it wins game of the year, no joke...hella good game play
Fallout 3 is absolutely magical from start to finish, no joke, waaay better than Oblivion in my opinion, but why isn't Gears 2 in your list to choose from that game got extremely good reviews at ign.com
Oh and by the way, I've taken Fable 2 off my list, because it is a Role Playing Game. I do not like Role Playing Games, I like First Person Shooters and Third Person Shooter's. I also like games like, Resident Evil, Silent Hill,and other Horror video games
I just got fallout 3 its good,best played in 1st person view but has 3rd person view also-game is very good so far.fable 2 is good,but fallout is gonna have a better replay value.fallout has no online and fables is not worth using.farcry 2 is a good game but I would skip it-i heard onlone the host can end game at anytime evan if your winning.You know world at war will be good and worth the money if you like part 4,but is gonna be very simillar.After all this I would suggest world at war if you could only get 1 but fallout is gonna be the best overall.

CoD5 beta is awesome. Im getting Gears 2 and CoD5 for christmas.
If you like first person shooters, go check out Left 4 Dead, it's a first person zombie gore fest. It's made by the guys who made Half-Life and you know Valve makes badass games. It comes out Nov. 18th. You can try the demo of that game on Nov. 11, if you pre-order the game now, you can play it now. I just got the demo today and it's badass.
If I have extra money for Chirstmas, I'll get Fallout 3 as well or maybe Dead Space.

Just to let you guys know I've already got dead space and now my list has changed again, Now I'll either get Fallout 3 , COD 5, Left 4 dead, or Silent Hill: Homecoming
Silent Hill Homecoming was pretty disappointing. I played it a bit at my friends house and it just doesn't have that scare factor like it used to have. I would just rent that.

I know this is a Xbox 360 type thread but i wanted to see what everyones reaction would be for PS3 games...i mean if i could get any 3 games for the holiday i'm thinking
1.Metal Gear Solid 4 (10 out 10 Masterful rating on IGN, they don't hand those out to easily)

Im sorry man, but Killzone 2 won't be out till Feb. 17, 2009.
But MGS4 and Reistance 2 are good choices, both are great games.
