WHICH HEADSET TO BUY??

Hi all, I want to graduate from the school of the original one eared standard xbox headset onto a whole nutha level! But where to begin? Turtle Beaches seem to be the name brand most people throw out there, I have a budget of about $100 as anything more spent on a set of headphones for gaming would garner a divorce from my better half any advice would be appreciated.

The best one for your budget would probably be the turtle beach X-12's. They are my back up pair and they are 100,000,000,000 times better than the standard Xbox mic.

Turtle Beaches are definitely the most cost-effective headset. I have some X12's, good headset and pretty cheap too, but stepped up to the XP500's and love them.....aside from how quickly they eat batteries.

i still love my tb x11's. i have had the tb px21's and currently have the tb x12's. i got used to the px21's and i dont mind them. x12's are definitely harder to get used to since there are so many sound settings
