What is the News Team and what does the News Team do?
The Xiled Gaming News Team. The name itself states what it is that we are and what we do. We are a team of well driven journalists who strive to get the news of the gaming world to you whether that be the news of upcoming games, patch notes, reviews, events, and much more.
What is a Journalist?
Journalists are those that have met the requirements by submitting a minimum of one (1) article a month. These members have proven their dedication to the News Team. They have written multiple articles and are continuing to do so. These members have been given the News Team Usergroup Banner and have their own Forum in the “Journalists” Forum as a result to post articles for review.
What is the process in becoming a Journalist on the News Team?
First step to becoming a member of the News Team is that you will submit an application answering a couple of questions together with a sample article showing what style of writing it is that you have. Once the Editor has reviewed your application, you will be given another article to write based on what type of articles you are interested in writing. You will be given suggestions, comments, concerns, or asked questions that the Editor may have for your secondly submitted article. Once that has been completed, you will be approved or denied to be on the News Team.
Once I have completed the application process, what happens then?
Once your application has been approved, you are now a Journalist on the News Team! Your requirements to maintain your Journalist status is come up with a minimum of one (1) creatively written article a month and attend two (2) meetings.
