I'm going to be watching a movie with my Friends. I really want a REALLY scary movie to watch. I've seen 'The exorcist' and a lot of other scary movies. I want a scary movie that is actually scary, and that makes me jump, other than all the stupid movies now that just have all the gory stuff in it, like all the blood. What are some real scary movies that scared you bad?

well if u havent already, i'd say The Grudge and Darkness Falls scared me as kid but nothing does now haha xD

yeah it seems like they dont try to make movies scary anymore because i have not seen any scary movie in years
they've tried to push the envelope so far that most scary movies are funny these days... i really can't even think of the last time i've actually been scared at a movie... if i can think of one ill holla
Let Me In and Silence of the Lambs are the best horror movies out there, not because they're scary but because they're just great movies.
And jump scares aren't scary, it's just a cinematic cheap trick. Atmosphere is where it's at.

most scary movies they make today have too much bloodshed and its not even scary, its just gross.
I can't watch scary films anymore, 9/10 times it is a terrible plot that doesn't have anything logically scary or surprising.
