i feel you. since the map pack the lag has gotten better, but when the servers see the most activity, the lag resurfaces to claim peoples KD. hah

Being in a different country and always getting red bar, hurts my KD. But some reason I've gotten accustomed to the lag and thankfully its upgraded to yellow and doesn't really bother me anymore.

I usually have to back out and re-search for a better lobby 2-4 times, then I finally get a lag-free lobby
