Collect And Max Out A Wide Variety Of Weapons
You might find that it’s fun to play around with different stuff. This is a good time to hunt down and level up those elusive weapons you never acquired. You can also grab those neglected weapons that you never leveled that are collecting cobwebs in your vault. As a veteran Guardian, you should have choices. It’s nice to have the luxury of choosing the best weapon for the task at hand.
Obtain The Best Possible Equipment For Your Guardian
If you’re a level 32 then you have at least a full set of legendary armor and probably some exotic pieces as well. One good thing about the Crotas End raid gear is that there are several versions of each piece of armor. This allows you to customize your gear set up the way you like it. Also, don’t forget Xur has the Exotic upgrades and can offer better rolls for gear that you already have. To truly maximize your experience, try and target the armor stats you want the most of. There are substantial benefits to increasing your Strength, Intellect, and Discipline. The goal is to have as much as possible, and while this may take some time, its worth it if you want to be able to use your abilities quicker. For example, with full Intellect you’ll get nearly twice as much Super energy from kills, and with full Discipline and Strength, grenade and melee cooldown will be reduced by half. Just be aware that 271 points is the maximum you can have in any stat, so don’t bother going over that, or it’ll just be a waste.
Level Up Your Reputation With Tower Venders
If you haven’t already leveled up Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and the Future War Cult vendors, now is a good time to do so. They offer good weapons and gear and each time you level them up you get a commendation with the legendary postmaster package you earn. It’s not that hard to level these guys up. You can continue to do Vanguard and Crucible bounties, do patrols, take advantage of the Nightfall bonus and the Weekly Heroic Strike reputation awards, these all count to increase the XP applied to that faction.
Help Your Friends Level Up
You have arrived, you are a wizened and great 32, combat-hardened and forged in the fires of battle, but others may not have gotten there yet. Help friends level up their lower level characters, help gamers who just picked up the game rank up, or help our new XG recruits catch up, now that they FINALLY have a GREAT group of gamers to play with. You could help players to find all the Dead Ghosts or Golden Chests, help with story missions or strikes or maybe show them the ropes of Crucible. One of the great things about Destiny is that it lends itself to teamwork, the game is designed around playing it with other people, and it has been a blast playing with all the great XG gamers in our community!
Conquer Crucible
If you don’t regularly play Crucible, it might be time to jump in and hone your PVP skills. Maybe forming a 6 person team that regularly rolls together would be a lot of fun. It’s also a great way to level guns and armor by completing Crucible bounties.
Get Into The Lore
Destiny has a rich and vast mythos and the story is there if you look for it. If you explore the Grimoire Cards you’ll find a wealth of information. Don’t be fooled, these cards aren’t for trading, and they aren’t for burning in the firepit either. Though they may not look like much, if you dig deep and unlock more and more you’ll find that these cards are the key to unlocking the lore surrounding the Destiny universe. There are also some great YouTubers out there collecting and presenting Destiny lore in fantastic videos, check some of these out!
Seek Out New Grimoire Cards That Help Your Guardian
There are actually a couple of ways for players to use their Grimoire Cards. Once you dig into them a little, you’ll begin to realize the potential they add to your Guardian, and just how helpful they can be at keeping you alive just a little bit longer. Some cards will level up player weapons, increasing base stats for certain weapon classes. If you’re really lucky you’ll even end up with some Grimoire Cards which increase the likelihood of loot spawning when you kill enemies or open chests. If all you’re looking for is some extra Glimmer in your wallet earn a card like the Servitor as an example, it can be combined with consumables to earn more currency upon defeating mobs. Also, players can use certain Grimoire Cards to level up their weapons faster. Using the Auto-Rifle as an example, after reaching a total of 2,500 kills the player will unlock Rank 1, which grants them additional weapon experience for that weapon type, and allows them to unlock upgrades faster than they could before.
