I was watching the game last night (suns v. celtics) and i realized that the trade was worth it. the suns have a chance to overwhelm the bigger teams such as the spurs and they still have Nash the best player in the league.

I thought the trade was horrible, Shaq can't keep up with the "run and gun" style of play in the west. He isn't 22 years old, is overweight, coming off an injury that requires surgery. The GM of the Suns should be fired along with Isiah. They lost Marion who is a huge rebounder, can get 20 points a game, runs the floor, and hits 3's when needed. Riley made another genius decision, he got a quality player by giving away a guy who will probably retire at the end of the year. Don't forget the Heat probably will finish with the #1 pick and will draft someone that might even crack the starting 5. Sad part is that I'm a Knicks fan, enough said....

Yeah Pau Gasoll was a total steal. They made a great trade for Kwame Brown who I think is still shocked he is in the NBA
I wouldn't call it the best team ever, but they are a really good team that have an above average chance to win the west.
Ok ill agree with that. Shaq is not doing good at all with the suns. Some of his stats are down compared to the miami's stats. And he doesnt even play that much. But other than him the Lakers came back last night aginst the trailblazers.
Yeah, I like the Lakers style right now. With a quality big man and Kobe, they could do damage in the playoffs. But, you know that the playoffs is a new season and anyone could come alive. Look at the Warriors last year taking out the Mavs, it could happen
