RANK DESIGNATION

This thread pertains to the ranking system of XG;

Most of the ranks used are that of Army (Ground forces) (Examples: General, LT, Private)

When considering that the rank of Captain is a navy rank, it makes me wonder and question why we don't use the rank of "Colonel" (roughly the army equivalent of captain)

Just something to ponder...

Captain, also an Army rank, has its grounding in the leadership qualities of Lt and sr NCO's, that is the reason for this rank designation. As to the rank of Col., even though used, it is a lessor rank of leadership, mostly used for those in admin or legal fields, although a rank, it is one we decided not to use.
