Yeah i live in norht carolina and im only about two countys from where the tornados were. where i live we even got some wind damage it wasnt to cool but im just glad it wasnt a major inncident like in japan. but it still wasnt good.

From what I understand it is being treated like a major incident due to all the damage each and every tornado cost as well as the amount of deaths/missing persons. We have a lot of injured people here, but no actual deaths that we know of. They calculated as many as 60 tornadoes from that storm just in North Carolina alone. (Lives in North Carolina and has been watching the turmoil here in Fayetteville since the tornado hit.) It sucks a lot. But it is a major incident. Nothing like this has happened in NC for over one hundred years.
Sorry if you read it like I was mad or something. Dx I was trying to state a fact cause we were on a state of emergency and what not. x.x Didn't mean to make it sound like I have attitude.
they declared a state of emergency in virginia too... some areas got pounded by that same cell that hit NC
It's crazy. I finally went down to the area that got the worst damage from the tornado and it's just terrible. It doesn't look like yadkin road at all. Although not to be rude, one thing kinda made me laugh. There were several cars piled on top of each other, then a large tree, and on top of that tree was another car. And out of all those cars the very top car had one little light on. And I don't know why, but I found it kind of funny. I feel like a horrible person for it. Dx
