I am a new recruit in KoG and was wondering what the best/fastest way to rank up is.

Hey buddy first things first! Welcome and i hope you enjoy 
Anywho the best way to get to the next rank is by knowing what your doing. For example, you know the honor code and rank structure as well as the forum rules and regulations.
Next is just gaming with the clan and learning how to recruit people and so forth. Always learn from your superiors and do what you can!

Don't always look for the fastest way to rank up.
-because you may rank up so fast you may not have the experience to do, or
-know simple matter stuff
-or you can't solve problems that are going on and have squadmates just ending up leaving. know what i mean?
-cause it may seem its easier to be leader and tell others what to do but its harder the higher you move up.
its better to have the experience to do something to have that foundation.
and what highlight said was true. be active in forums in your squad in the community to rank up. you have to show your captain what potential you got and how you can contribute to the community. but ranking up fast isn't the best way.

the way to get a promotion is to do everything that defines your rank and then some...
BUT, if you are in XG just for the purpose of ranking up, u'll quickly find out that XG may not be for you. We are interested in providing a great gaming experience for all, and generally people who just want to gain rank get power hungry and create unwanted drama... now that you r in kog, just have fun, and if you want to get into leadership eventually do the things that your rank requests you do... but above all have fun...
