MEMBER STATUS FOR LIEUTENANTS

What does everyone think about clans having member status for Lieutenants? I personally see no harm, it gives them a nice reward for their hard-work, and does not give them too much power. They are able to recruit by themselves, inform the clan on upcoming events, and then can help ease the captains recruiting jobs. As a Lt. you are the captains right hand-man, and giving them the reward of Member, will help them out. I do not think this will micromanage anyone, but i would like to hear some of your opinions.

When a Leiutenant recrutes...he cant change them to PEON. And usually leiutenants are chosen that wisely..and they may send out messages which are not what "we look for"

Scorpion is right, they may send messages to the clan that is offensive to some or all of the members. which in turn could **** them off and cause more problems.

I agree with Slayer here....They still can't boot anyone from the clan or anything catastrophic...It should be the generals decision. It gives LT's a chance to practice their skills and give them a sense of pride in earning member status....It is also a chance to establish trust with the rest of the clan before being given too much responsibility....

messages that aren't, like scorpion said, "what we look for" are strong examples of lessons that can be taught...what is/isn't proper messaging can impact a clan....There is no reason for a LT to message a clan outside of welcoming recruits and EMERGENCY situations...If they know to tell their recruit to not send clan invites, there should be no problem....Like I said, this should be the generals decision to choose whether a LT can be held accountable for their actions....

I definitely agree with Slayer. It gives them the opportunity to recruit without the assistance of the captains. This will show the captains and Generals how well of a member he is.

Scorpion, the two issues you have with this I have solutions to. Since they cannot make them peons, have them send out welcome messages, which will inform the captains or Generals that they need to make this person peon. As for the rude messages? They probably should not be Lieutenants if they will do stuff such as that.

member status will not be allowed guys sorry, leiutnants are not yet ready to send out clan invites because usually when they have a recrute, they take it to the captain and the captain makes sure that its the right person or not..

but if the leiutenant goes and recrutes random people and they arent evaluted by the captain, and turn out to not be quality members...no good...

Plus, the responsiblity of sending out clan invites is given to captain + because they are the ones who deserved this and know who are coming in there clan..

When I said about the wrong messages being sent out I was refering to the new recruits brought in because they will have a member status when brought in.

defender what i think magnum means is that when a recruit gets the invite they will start out as member and since the LT is only a member they wont be able to change them to a peon

This has been brought up many times and the answer from the Council Members who started our community is NO.
This is not up for debate. If you need to read it from a Council Member go to the XGC 007 XI forum area as their is a current thread about it.
