“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” - Albert Einstein

GWG:
If someone leaves the community or gets kicked, the only path for them back into the community is through either the GWG or by XC/XI approval. If someone is allowed back in, circumventing that process, the leaders responsible will be held accountable.

Discord Refresh:
The discords have underwent/undergoing changes to freshen/clean them up. If anyone has any feedback, suggestions, or concerns please pass that along to SYN EM XD

Pending Issue Resolution:
If you have an issue or concern you have brought to leadership please give them the time and space to get it resolved. Just because issues are not handled same day/night doesn’t mean the leaders aren’t gathering info or scheduling a meet with other individuals that your concerns may pertain to. Our leaders work as quick and as precise as possible so please give them the time they need.

Having A Witness:
There seems to be a misunderstanding that in order to do your job as a leader you must have a witness at all times. You did not get promoted to have someone sit in your pocket for every conversation you have. While it may be a good idea to have a witness for tougher situations, you are not required to have someone with you to have a conversation. In fact, it can actively be a hindrance to you building relationships and being an effective leader.

Establishing Priorities:
Triage pending issues and prioritize the limited amount of time that you have online. While being proactive and dealing with issues in a timely manner is important. You should never feel like you are going to work when you turn on your PC or Xbox. Don't forget what lead you to join in the first place, to have fun and play games.

Leaderlogs:
Leaderlogs are an important communication tool for XSs, XDs, XCs, & XIs to keep a log of major situations that we deal with and it is required. Make sure we are including the "When, Where, Who, Why".

Generals

Website and Discord
New members are required to register on the website and join their division's discord. While the website may not be the social resource it used to be, the discords are. New members can interact with the other members in their clan, find people to game with, and learn more about the community.

Clan Leaders

Clan Splits:
Clan Splits are to gone over by the Section Leader and Clan Leader to make sure all members that are listed on Clan List and Usergroup. Please make sure all names are matching and correct spelling of said gamertag of our members. Also when Cl's are picking Clan names let try our best to keep to keep it at a 12-15 character limit. If not the website will split the name on the clan tag.

Clans:
Remember Clan Leaders your clan is your responsibility. You run your clan how you see fit as long as it's within the Xiled Gaming clan structure. If you need to make changes do so at your will. But please give a heads up to your XS so they are aware.

Summer Time:
We all know school is letting out and the weather is starting to be nicer. Families are going to be doing vacations and cookouts etc... If your gonna be away for a while please report this to your Chain Of Command so your not placed inactive. Remember communication is the key to success.

Clan Leaders;

Clan Splits:

When preparing a Clan Split remember there is alot more to doing a split than just making sure usergroup matches clan list. Making sure gamertags are spelled correctly.

We need to make sure when selecting the Squad Leader that we are making sure we have invested all our knowledge we have as being Clan Leaders. At same time we need to make sure all the ducks are in a line.

Clan activity - Members have to be gaming and hanging out together on the regular every day or night.

Game nights - Certain time of the week when member are for sure getting together to game and have a good time and meet the new recruits.

Clan meetings - This is the time when leaders are sharing news going on in the community/division/clan. Making sure all members are up to date on info or rules that have changed.

Honor Code:
What's the foundation on which this community was built on?

Answer is The Honor Code.

The Honor Code is 100% in game treatment of online gaming. It in no way has any meaning toward how we treat each other in game lobbies or otherwise.

Please be sure that we are honoring the Honor Code at all times. If need be please refer to the website if you need a refresh of the Honor Code.

Clan Leaders:

Grass Wasn't Greener aka GWG

A GWG is only needed when a member is RETURNING to the community because they either LEFT or was REMOVED from the community. If they are returning to the community due to going INACTIVE they DO NOT have to post a GWG. If they are a Section Leader (XS) or higher then they are to reach out to the current XC's/XI's

Dating or Related to.

A member Can Not be dating or related to someone who is in leadership that is directly responsible for their advancement of promotion.
Meaning... If someone is a member starts dating or is related to a Clan Leader that member now has to transfer to a diff clan.
Reason... One can not be responsible for another's advancement in the chain of command. We do not want any unfair or bias decisions made.

Honor Code Section VIII

Honor Code violations consist of trash talking, t-bagging, discrimination, racism, sexism, harassment, illegal drugs, cheating, poaching, squad deranking, or any other aggressive behavior toward fellow online gamers. Cheating is defined as any manipulation of online play; this includes, but is not limited to moding, bridging, stand-bying, forcing host, action replay, glitching/super jumping in match making/ranked games to gain an unfair advantage, playing online custom / ranked games with Moders, and circle boosting. Every situation is different and will be handled appropriately on a case by case basis.

Here recently I have been getting messages stating there is some members who believe that because it's "Their Party and on Their Xbox" they can just say the N-Word. It doesn't matter if it ends with a R or an A. This will not be tolerated at all. If this is caught being done you will be demoted and or can be removed from this division and community.

Everyone in this division has read and agreed to the same honor when they joined this division. So we need to uphold this Honor Code also.

Transfers:

Leaders when we are doing a transfer. Let's make sure we are following the proper steps. There have been too many instances where members are asking for transfers, and leaders are taking it into their own hands and not properly handling the situation as it should be handled. Remember,
In-Side Sections - Transfers are done between Clan Leaders.
Outside Sections - Transfers are handled between Section Leaders
Outside Divisions - Section Leaders handle transfers unless it's a problematic member then Division Leaders will be involved.
We have 72 hours to complete transfers.

Importance of Clan List:

Clan List are important to have due to it lets everyone know inside said Clan who is a member. Also it let members know who the leadership is and Chain of command. Though some clans only have 1 squad. Its really important when we have more than 1 squad so members know who to go to with problems or questions. Updating our Clan Lists on the 1st of each month also helps show who is active and not active in the clan too. We need to make sure we are following our responsibilities as Clan Leaders and making sure this is being done.

Goals:
The Clan Leader is the team leader. In being that team leader, one of your most important task is having goals for you clan and setting the plan of action and expectations to achieve those goals. These goals are organic to each clan and should be updated and revised on a continuous basis. Example of some goals are growing the clan, growing the leadership, working on a squad leader, working on a clan split, communicating better with all members of the clan, better meeting attendance, etc.. As you can see the goals are determined by the clans need at the time, but there should always be a goal. So, if you do not have any goals set for your clan, it is time to take a look at your clan, work with the leadership and see what needs to be done to make the clan better. Your section leader is a great resource to help you establish obtainable goals for your clan

Professionalism:

Remember while being a member of Xiled Gaming you are expected to uphold a professional gaming demeanor at all times. There is no reason to be yelling at other members, messaging in all caps or trash talking other members in the community. We are all here for the same reason, to have a group of people that we enjoy gaming with every day. Remember the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated
