This was for xbox 360. Not xbox one. Xbox one doesn't have a clear cache option so yes u have to pull the plug for 10 seconds or go into settings and restart the xbox from there. However xbox 360 had an option to clear cache in a spot not many ever looked.

It does have this feature. It's just named differently. You can even clear your 360 cache from your xbone.
