Message: <blockquote data-quote="blondiizzle" data-source="post: 13669" data-attributes="member: 258">I totally agree Spy Hunter - They say that Generals are the backbone of the XG, well, the Captains are the backbone of your clan.  Active Captains bring the squads together and the clan together.  They make people want to play the game, to be with their squad.  That is why the position is there, and that is why people are promoted to Captain (and LT).  I have seen Captains go inactive for extended periods of time and their squads fall apart without a strong Lieutenant to pick up the slack.I also agree that it can be frustrating trying to get inactive members together.  I am currently working on rebuilding the activity in Top Shelf as a new member there, altogether, that most of the clan members have never even heard of!  This means that I am checking Bungie.net for the last active dates in Halo for every clan member, and XBox.com for their last active date in any game.  Then I am sending them friend requests in order to hunt them down in the 360 dashboard and asking them if they would like to play that night, to get to know me.  I do discuss other 360 games, and play other games with them as well, but I do try to make a point of getting them into Halo.  It is a lot of work to keep people active, you have to make them WANT to play.Now, I have a question for everyone - I had thought that I was told at one point in time that we could boot inactives (over six months or something insane) if the clan list was full.  I'd like to know the answer to this, not that I have to worry about it for a while, but a good thing to know, anyways.Thanks!</blockquote>
