Here's a message from Aunt Helen: Recently a lot of people have been leaving and then asking to come back. "If a KoG member leaves, he is NOT allowed back." Recognize that quote? It is from the KoG honor code as well as the other XG division honor codes. If you want to leave, that is your right. No one has to try to stop you. If they do try, you dont have to listen. But always remember, it is a permanent decision. Many people feel that they should be allowed to come back because they didnt do anything else that was wrong. Leaving is still a clear violation of the honor code. If you leave because you show loyalty to someone who was asked to leave because they violated the honor code, then that means your loyalties do not coincide with the honor code. There are a couple of exceptions: 1) Leaving because of personal reasons that take you away from gaming 2) Leaving because of real life obligations sch as work or school If you want to leave because you don't think KoG is for you, then it probably isn't. This type of community is not for everybody. If you are not happy here, then your performance in the community may hurt your squad and it may be the best decision for everyone if you leave. If you leave for this reason, do not expect to come back. If you leave because you want to go to another gaming community, then do not expect to come back. If you leave as a protest to a decision a superior has made, do not expect to come back. If you leave because of a fight you had with someone, regardless of their rank, dont expect to come back. All I'm saying is that if you're thinking about leaving, dont do it hastily. Make sure you want to. If you are not sure, then explain your situation to a superior and ask them for advice.
