i tried this and i worked on my computer but when i had in put in my xbox i couldn't connect, do you think its b/c im using my laptop to get me internet for my xbox i did this on my brothers who have the wireless adapter for the xbox and it worked perfectly, but idk

u might just be better off getting a new router because i had the same issues my nat always showed as closed or moderate at the best i did what saaosin said and opened up my ports a bunch of times but they never stayed open i just bought a netgear and both of my 360s nats are open all the time plus it was under $100

after resetting your system it will open at times but most of the time it depends on your isp

mine is had a verizon based interface, most of the info is the same, the process seems to deviate when I go to the DMZ tab, gives me a list of devices on my network and my public IP saying it will reset and host from the DMZ. So I would pick my XBox360 from the list of devices I'm assuming? then proceed with the rest of the steps as listed above?

I was still having problems with my NAT but i went into my settings and change my xbox ip to a bigger number and that fixed all my problems

I totally understand what you mean. My grades usually dip right around the middle of second and fourth quarter. I'm in highschool now mom, she should be more worried about keeping me away from girls.
