So I just got my new headset delivered today, and I gotta say it's amazing (They're Turtle Beach ear force X11's). You hear sounds you never even knew were in the game, and sit rep pro on MW2 is actually worth using. Anyone else like using headsets?

Nice, I hope its the right kind of TB's. Many of the ones I've heard thus far have a tendency to echo and have bad feedback.

I don't like full-sound headsets for console gaming, I believe a good stereo system sounds better and adds to the feel. But I use a gamecom for my PC and love it. Best headset i've ever used.

I have tritons, turtle beach x1s, and astro a40s. I very much prefer playing with a headset when playing very competitively otherwise prefer just surrond sound speakers and tv sound.

ive had the tb x3's and the newer version the tb x31s and they are sweet, the only time there is echoing is when one of the cords isnt plugged in all the way, either to the controller or to the left earpiece. They leat you easilly hear ninja pro without busting your eardrums...The chat boost is nice too, no more losing teammates voices amidst explosions.

I have the X4's and the Tritton 720 set. I like the Tritton because it is wired, doesn't use batteries, but the cords can become a pain sometimes. The X4's have become useless since I bought my plasma TV as the IR signal gets interrupted by the white noise of the plasma, but being wireless and having a mute button on the controller is another feature I wish the Tritton headset had. The X41's are RF, which eliminates the white noise problem, so I'd like those, but I'm sticking with my Tritton's right now because I don't feel like dropping another 200 bones on another set of headphones. If I buy an LCD or LED TV that shouldn't be a problem anymore and the X4's will be just fine.

Headphones are a MUST on Search & Destroy in MW or MW2, especially on defense or if you are the last man standing on offense.

P.S. My X4's are brand new, as the old ones crapped out and they sent me a brand new pair to replace them in the 11th month of a one year warranty - nice!

You're welcome Taco...:D

I have the TB X1's. Best $60 I've ever spent as my g/f was getting annoyed with the constant sounds of gunfire when I'm playing MW2.

I thought they were good when coupled with Ninja Pro but they're downright godly if you're using Sit Rep Pro. It really cuts down on needless deaths from those Marathon/Lightweight/Commando Tac Knifers...when I'm playing on my own I get accused of having a wall hack b/c I can hear people coming around corners from a mile away...
