I think it would be a good idea to ask the lower members how there leadership is doing and if there is any problems ....... it keeps people humble and might show a issue that is community wide ...... and input would be appreciated and encouraged

When I was a General a decade ago, I would encourage all members in my clan to report to anyone higher than me if I was failing to lead. My clan was a bunch of great guys and had no problem saying anything if something needed to be done or changed.

As someone who was formerly in a higher leadership role, there is an open-door policy if you ever need to talk to someone in leadership. You’re also right that leaders should be checking in with their members regularly. Good communication goes both ways, and that’s how concerns get addressed.

I respect that, and every group is different. It’s great your clan was comfortable speaking up. Some people just aren’t as communicative as others, which is why it’s important to make members feel comfortable reaching out through the chain of command, while also knowing there’s an open-door policy if they need to go higher.
