GENERALS POST IDEAS ON HOW YOU KEEP YOUR CLANS IN GOOD SHAPE

the best way I have found to keep squads together is just to play with them when you can. Thats it. Its been workin for me and I have had no complaints
I play with the people in my clan as much as possible. We have practices or "family night" every night of the week. We all play together anyway. We just had a 1000 Kills or Bust not too long ago. If you're H3 based you guys can split up and do campaign together and get all the skulls and scoring and stuff. Just play together.. My clan isn't big enough to split into squads yet but once we do we'll have squad competitions.
Squad competitions are always fun. I am a COD4 guy and sometimes when we have too many members on to form one party we start two. And we normally end up doing Ground Wars against one another. Something else you could do is have Squads making clans on clan compete. You could have all your squads on the same ladder to have a battle of the squads. This also helps the site as it would keep 4 or so clans there active. Also gives extra diversity.
i have gust heard of some new ideas, one for example would be have a banner contest or somthing like that. since i am a new Gen i am having a banner contest and the winner will have his/her banner posted as the clan banner. I mean hey its an idea so you dont just have to play games to keep them interested.
Yeah but, the majority of my clan do not have computers and if they do their are really crappy. Also, I don't think the majority of people have the programs to be creating that stuff.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to play with your new recruits. They, as everyone else in the squad, are what make up this community. Play with your members get to know them. Let them know that your there and that your willing to help them with anything community, squad, or game related.
you make a good point and that is whear you could do somthing on the box like screenshot contest although i dont know how that would work out

Daily workouts starting with a 12k run in halo 3 around sandtrap.
nah on a more serious note keeping their attention with competitive gameplay against each other or against unsuspecting populations of people in social/ranked games...a play period during/after clan meetings
and just getting new recruits with passion for the games they play it eventually translates into the community

Well put! Keeping a friendly competitive atmosphere within your clan can always boost your members moral. It keeps your members active. This can also be fueled by bringing new members.
