Some of our favorite servers are shutting down for PC gaming. Such titles like SW Battlefront II and Republic Commando which are my favorites will no long have working servers via them. On Steam, it will read, "As of May 31, 2014, online functionality, including network multiplayer and wireless chat, will no longer be available for this title. We regret any disappointment as a result of the shutdown of the services supporting these online features". If you check the website http://www.gamespy.com/ they admit that they will be leaving :'( I am still unsure which games will be affected on May 31st, but I can tell you it will be a lot of the games you enjoy on PC. XDC should think about hosting a PC match on one of the selected games that will be affected so we can have one last farewell like we did with Halo 2 and the original Xbox servers.
