Hi there. So I want to get a larger variety of games. But this is a recession. So I was wondering about any good (and free) PC games. Any suggestions? I'm willing to try any genre. Thanks! ;D

Well it isn't free but I'll recommend either Starcraft 1 or 2.
1 is $20 and comes with the brood wars Expansion.
2 is $60 or less and requires a better computer than 1.
If you're looking for free games like angry birds (sometimes it's free) or something I haven't hardly tried looking.

I would suggest League of Legends. It's totally free to play, but requires a somewhat new computer. I play it from time to time, so I would be down to play if you decide to try it.

Team fortress 2 is free, it's pretty hard though i'm still trying to get use to it,you can find it on steam.
Wizard101 is a great online game for anyone to use. I made a thread in the XG PC Gamer Divison about it.
All you have to do is create an account, and download the program to your computer. There are memberships you can buy...I think a year is something like 60 bucks...so about the same as XBL. I think it's a great game...don't judge me...Lol.

that is sweet, i played with a friend at his house, but never wanted to buy the game (i'm a moocher apparently) and now that it is free, i am so excited!!!
