Gimp is free and what several of the Design Team Members use as well. If you want to learn how to use these programs I strongly suggest watching Youtube Tutorials.
Photoshop is very expensive but you can also do a lot of very cool things with it they actually teach you how to use it in some colleges but if you would like to learn how to do it you should start off with YouTube tutorials and maybe ask a design team member to help you out when needed
