in real football players can hit each other... i don't like sports that you get in trouble if you are a physical player... (soccer, baseball, and basketball)... hockey and football are my kinda sports...
They only thing i can agree with you on edicius is that you don't use you foot as much in american football as you do in soccer... they could have come up with a more original name, but i stick with the sport my country calls football

Indeed. I enjoy football (American) as well as hockey. I get bored easily by non-contact sports. For example: Baseball, Soccer, Nascar etc.
there's some contact in soccer, shin kicks, headbutts and fists (probably the most use of their hands)

the funny thing is i like american football i just posted that because i think its funny, but in response to yours, sorry but soccer takes much more out f you then nfl does. sorry i didnt have it in me to call it football.
think about it. there is much more physical contact in real football although it's not allowed, its like a mix between hockey and nfl without the pads. and dont forget about the fact that in nfl they are looking for big guys (including fat fridgerators), but in real football it takes endurance, which means no fat boys, and if a fat boy plays full soccer games and is succesful very much respect to them. it's also why i like boxing. both are sports that take the extent of your physical capabilities. if you can bench more than twice your weight... thats very impresive. but if you can withstand some one like that stand up and still win the game. then my respect goes to the one that went through true physical tribulations

Soccer is like long distance running
You need endurance, but not strength or toughness
The best soccer player would be broken in half on a football field
only because the soccer player would be the only one without all the pads and extra protective gear
No sense playing a sport if you only last one game

K I watched it
I was reminded of a girl fight in high school through most of the video. At no point did I say to myself "man, these guys are tough". Also the video gives no credibility to your argument that soccer is a physical and violent sport. None of that footage happened while actually playing the game. It was all during a break of some sort where a fight unrelated to actually playing soccer broke out.
Honestly an NFL punter would put these guys in their place and a lineman would probably eat several of them
