CHANGES TO XBOX 360 INTERFACE

so just wanted to know how everyone felt about the new changes to the 360 interface that will be coming this fall....for those of you who dont know about it yet take a look at the video

yeah same here, i like the avatars even though they are basically the mii's from wii

a lot of people are pissed about this though

I really don't like it all that much. They're just copying Nintendo to attract the older audience. Plus it really doesn't suit the console.

well i agree that this is not really what the 360 is all about...the 360 is much more on the edge and hardcore than the wii is so its kind of different seeing this come out of microsoft

also did anyone hear the rumor that if you have net flix you will be able to watch these movie from the interface with your party? i heard this rumor somewhere and if its true, it will be amazing

Yes, It is not a rumor it is in the newest game informer magazine. I really look forward to it thought even if it is like the Miis but it seems more customizeable than the Miis. I guess if you're gonna copy something atleast make it better.

i completely agree...i personally love change and i think constant innovation and stuff is really good for the xbox community

All i know is that i GI they said it was going to occur some time during this fall. so im expecting it to hit some time during october.

im really liking it.. people need to really look at the Upside of this instead of bashing on it because of the AVATARS....

Yea i agree. They said that it was going to make the xbox easier to use and that would also be more apealling. And im pretty sure microsoft even said that they have been working on this for a while.

Not for me. Not a big fan of the new fall update. And the mii's thing are just not my scene.

To me the dashboard feels very compact and easy to navigate, but the update, just looks sort of uhhh open....not right word....very disconnected. And as for the mii's I don't see them as much use, I prefer a plain dp for my gamertag. Anyway that's my opinion.
