Hey,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been holding a Captains Class on Saturday nights at 9pm eastern. It gives people some tips on what it means to be a leader, a detailed look at some aspects of the Honor Code, and how to make sound decisions when dealing with issues. We also touch on some other aspects of XG as a whole and go over the responsibilities of being a Captain in the greatest gaming community in the world.
I have been posting the names of the people that have attended the class on the forums under "Ask the Section Leaders", XGC COOLATA XS's page.
Some people have been posting seperate threads about the class and what they thought of it in the "News" section of the forums as well as on their individual squads pages. It has been met with great success so far and with the questions that people have brought up and their input, the class continues to get better and better.
Other Generals have attended the class to see what it's all about and to see how to structure one for their own squads as well. Right now, a lot of Captains have attended to learn how to do their jobs better but this is also for Lieutenants that want to learn about the position of Captain before they get into it as well. So you see, though it's called a Captains Class, it's really for everyone.
If you are interested in, or want to send someone to the class have them send me, (XGC RANDOM) or XGC STIZALL a friend request with the text message, "Class" and we will get them on the list for the upcoming Saturday. This is important because I'm always getting requests for different things and so I have to know what they want to make sure I get them in. Again, please don't post it on here if you're interested, send me that friend request on XBOX Live.
If everyone knows how to perform their responsibilities and learns to work together, it will make everyones job easier and result in people making sound decisions towards continuing to make XILED GAMING the best gaming community in the world.
I look forward to talking to all of you on live,
Jason
