I use the .50 cal. I think it is the best. It is more of your opinion. What do you think is the best?

go with the R700 it is more powerful and more acurate than the 50 and if you get used to the aiming and recoil its godlike
i like the M40 or the Dragunov.

R700 is clutch...never could get the 50cal to work well for me, just not my gun of choice...also a lot depends on the game mode you are playing because if you are playing hardcore you want to use the semi-auto sniper to get quicker shots in
I like the M-21 with stopping power, you just have to shoot for the head, or the chest and they'lll go down in 1 shot, plus it's got low recoil with a fast firing rate.
The M40a03 in my opinion is the best well rounded sniper. It has awesome stopping power. Not much recoil, and on top of that it is fairly accurate. Thats why they made it a newb weapon because its reliable. But I dont just use one sniper. It depends on the game type and the map as well as the perks.
The M40A03 best sniper out there, get it when ur in a low level, has more shots than the R-700 its easier to aim with and gets the job done with no questions asked.
I retried the r700 today and I relized the reason why i dont use it. Its the recoil that really makes it a bad gun. I just cant get use to it, but im sure if i did i would like it. So for now im just gonna stick with the M40A03
The R-700 has more recoil because it has a shorter barrel. It also has more mobility than the M-40. It doesn't make sense tho, becasue in real life, the longer the bnarrel is, the faster the bullet moves because the expanding gas from the gun powder has longer to drive the bullet before it disperses in the air around the barrel. I hav an R-700 in real life, but in a different cartridge than the game.
Stopping power with the M-21 is the best tho. One shot per kill if you aim at chest or head, and fastest fire rate of the sniper rifles.

wow i did not know that stopping power on the m21 was one shot kill...everytime i use it and aim center of body on someone it seems to take two hits
thats what i love about call of duty, it divides the torso into two parts, the abdomen, and the chest, if you shoot the chest its one shot, but the abdomen is two.
definitely did not know that...im a decent sniper but im a much better run and gunner...i just dont have the patience to snipe
I love Sniping, I'm a 10th prestige so by now im pretty damn good at everything but I hav a thing for Sniping. It's also improved my accuracy in assault rifle work.
yeah ive been 10th prestige forever...i even put the game down for three months and just like a month ago decided it was time to start playing again
