I love the G-3 in everything except search and destroy, put the red dot on and its almost as good as the M-14.
Go with the one that feels better in your hands i personally have them both set up in classes p90 with jug and mp5 with uav jammer. no matter what they say, you can shoot ANY gun as far as needed if ya do it right
hell yeah, i rock the P90 sileced with stopping power and extreme conditioning. rushing is best. wether its hardcore or not.
As long as you dont get impatient and have the eyes for it, any weapon is as good as an assault rifle.

It's technically impossible for any assault rifle to be silenced. The bullet is moving so fast it makes a sonic crack as soon as it leaves the barrel.
To give you an idea: Imagine a every piece of cloth in your house simultaneously ripping in half in a very small fraction of a second. Then, as the bullet goes down range, it sounds like an small airplane as the sound wave bounces around the area.
You don't get this effect with unsilenced weapons because the sound is drwoned out by the bang.
I guess they didnt wanna stretch the truth too much by puttin silencers on sniper rifles. A suppresor for the flash would be nice though.

I use the ak alot and steady aim doesn't see to help me alot. Seems like it works better without it.
You can silence a sniper rifle with an intergral suppressor and by using sub sonic ammo the weapon would have to be modified differently to account for the volocity lost from the sub sonic ammo and still you would not have the range that you had before but I can be done and I like using the AK47 with a silencer because I like the iron sights better
If you modify the rifle to use sub-sonic ammunition(.45 caliber is the only real one in the game at around 800 fps.) then the accuracy and range would go down so much that it would no longer be a sniper rifle.
Plus, the barrel length on one of those rifles would slow the bullet down even more after the powder burned up.
