ahh yeah that one on my personal sig is pretty sloppy i see that now, i tried to get chris all cut out but i couldnt seem to be precise enough for it :/ noob question, how do you zoom in photoshop?

after much trial and error, this is what i decided upon




I think it looks good. i like that you kept with the original color. the far left side is a little empty. a good way to spice up a signature is to take a nice stock image of stars, place it on top and play around with the layer settings and opacity of it. this is a good trick to add a little something to a somewhat plain signature.

To add on to what Sakura said, I would take the focal and split into two layers, then smudge the bottom layer and bring the opacity down just a little on the top. I do the same with start stocks. Another good thing to look for is fractal stocks, it adds some cool-looking effects.
